Have just read, that there is still hope for the Needle of Dolní Žleb and your letter was successful for now. So please excuse my harsh comment before.
I visited the area last saturday and I think the Needle had not seen so many climbers at one day the last 100 years. People from Czechia and Saxony, all came to pay their homage to this traditional rock.
So let's hope that the Needle will stay there the next hundred years too and it will be find another solution to protect the railway track.
